Sunday 7th June 2020
Returned to the heath for a while this afternoon - thankfully no thunderstorm this time - and sat for a while drinking cider by the Bronze Age barrow, having some much needed time by myself.

The Southampton Arms, where I stopped en route to the heath to buy a takeaway flagon of cider.

About 20 years ago, when I lived in Belsize Park, I couldn't bear to just throw out the little Christmas tree I had that Christmas, so I planted it on the heath. I had actually been back a year or two later and saw that it hadn't survived, but spotting this one here it's nice to see that someone else's has.

Heading back over the "summit" of Parliament Hill.
