The Harrow Inn
Friday 11th January 2019
Took the train down to Petersfield after work and spent the evening at the wonderful Harrow Inn.
London January 2019
I hadn't entirerly thought through that much of the mile walk from Petersfield station to the Harrow Inn would be in complete darkness!
Could barely see anything!
A lone house and the moon not long before arriving at the Harrow Inn.
The sign for the Harrow Inn.
What a lovely welcoming glow.
It was quite busy when I got there!
Free pheasants. I think I'll pass thanks.
The barrels behind the bar.
After a jovial couple of hours where I got chatting to some of the other patrons, everybody else left, and I had the whole pub to myself. I took the opportunity to take some photos of the interior.
Up close on the fire.
These prints were for sale. I rather liked them so I bought them both.
More views of the wonderful interior of the Harrow Inn.
Selfie in the Harrow Inn.
Finally I decided I should probably head off, so with some sadness I waved goodbye to the Harrow Inn...
...and headed to my lodgings for the evening - practically the polar opposite - the Premier Inn.
Fortunately I had some of my own art with me to brighten my otherwise very drab room up a bit!
