Went for a drink or two in Belgravia this evening before going to the Waitrose there to do our shopping. | Diwana Tuesday 19th January 2010 Went to Diwana, the very good vegetarian Indian restaurant on Drummond Street this evening for dinner. | Endou mame Wednesday 20th January 2010 Just one picture of the "endou mame" (kind of green bean) snack and a can of Sapporo I'd brought back from Japan. | New Year Party Thursday 21st January 2010 My company's second Christmas party, which we decided to postpone until after New Year. This time held at Namco Station, a kind of games centre / amusement arcade near Waterloo. |

| Burns Night Friday 22nd January 2010 Pictures from the Burns Night I held at our flat, with kilt wearing, (vegetarian) haggis eating, a bit of poetry, and of course lots of whisky. | Saturday Saturday 23rd January 2010 Typical Saturday morning (breakfast at the ever excellent Regency Cafe) followed by Andy's leaving party in the afternoon. | Aldgate Pub Crawl Tuesday 26th January 2010 Some poor quality mobile pictures from mine and Andy's pub crawl around Aldgate, culminating in dinner at a Japanese restaurant called Soseki by the Gherkin. | Saatchi Gallery Saturday 30th January 2010 Wandered over to Sloane Square / King's Road to take a look at the new contemporary Indian art exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery. Whilst in the neighbourhood we bought a new Dyson vaccuum cleaner in Peter Jones, where we also had lunch. |

| South Bank, Gordon's and Wahaca Sunday 31st January 2010 Went to see an Ozu film at the BFI on the South Bank this evening, and had a very pleasant stroll along by the river to get there, taking in some nice views of the Houses of Parliment. After the film had a drink at Gordon's wine bar, followed by dinner at Wahaca. |
