Unlike the two previous bottles (a 2013 and 2014) this was really lively and in great condition, sweet and sour on the palate, with hedgerow fruits (blackberries?) on the nose.

I sabraged it for an added bit of joie de vivre, and also because the cork on the previous bottle had popped spontaneously as I was loosening the cage - it actually seemed safer this way!

Very satisfying.
