Went for a daytrip to Lewes.
London February 2012
Daffodils and tulips in the window.
In Lewes they have a Holland and Barrett and a Julian Graves next door to each other.
Whambam, a pakora stand in Lewes.
Pakora - sort of lunch number two, as we'd also had a sandwich on the train.
The corner of the Harveys brewery shop, close to the actual brewery.
There's the Harveys Brewery itself.
The door to the Harverys brewery shop.
Sorry no dogs.
In the John Harvey, the brewery tap - several barrels of Harveys behind the bar.
Effigies of the Pope and Guy Fawkes, presumaby to do with Lewes' famous bonfire night celebrations.
Me and the Pope and Guy Fawkes.
Lots of nice old buildings in Lewes.
The Market Tower.
A view down to the downs.
The floor of Lloyds Bank.
Thomas Paine lived here.
The Fifteenth Century Bookshop.
Nice little lane.
Teddy bear passport..
View from Lewes Castle.
Inside the keep of Lewes Castle.
View from the top of the keep.
Chie dressing up.
Crossbow: temporarily out of order. We apologise for the inconvenience.
The aforementioned malfunctioning crossbow.
A model of a medieval crane.
The White Hart Hotel. Robin stayed here recently if I recall correctly. Tom Paine also spent some time here.
More nice old buildings.
The Friar. Pretty sure this is going to be a very good chip shop - unfortunately it was closed when we passed.
Nice etched glass.
On the way back into London - Chelsea Bridge and a bit of a sunset.
...and the moon.
