As we were passing the junction between the M40 and the M25 I could just see the lone white horse I'd first met on my strange adventure in the area back in October. I tried to get a photo but we were moving too quickly and there were too many obstructions.13:17:02

After a very long grueling drive down the M4 - really horrendous driving conditions and very heavy traffic - we finally made it to Bristol. Chie and Erika's room was upgraded to a balcony room and had a view of the Clifton Suspension Bridge.17:28:21

For a "Hotel du Vin" I was rather unimpressed with the hotel's wine list. Not a Burgundy in sight! The only thing I could find was this Spatburgunder which wasn't a particularly great example thereof.
