Rainy Wine on The Heath
Thursday 3rd December 2020
Another trip to the heath with some wine, this time the first of a case of Rossignol Trapet's 2014 Gevrey Chambertin.
London December 2020
It was a bit of a damp and grey evening, but I was undeterred.
Definitely some "terre de bois" here.
So here I sat in the rain.
It was a bit awkward trying to manage a glass of wine whilst holding an umbrella, but I perservered.
It probably would have benefited from being decanted and allowing a chance to breathe, but it was still enjoyable even in this compromised state.
Somewhat above the typical calibre of wine consumed on park benches I assume.
Rainy Gevrey Chambertin.
Still under my umbrella as it started to get dark.
Heading back home now, along the rainy paths of the heath.
Little Green Street with rain soaked cobbles.
