Curry and the Heath
Thursday 6th August 2020
Ordered Indian food from the ever excellent Tiffin Tin for dinner. I had considered carrying it to the heath and eating it there, but in the end that seemed like too much faff, so instead I ate at home and then went for a stroll on the heath afterwards.

My dinner, may not look that exciting but it was very tasty. The Camden Hells which had arrived yesterday was an excellent accompaniment.

My post dinner stroll to the heath. I had originally thought I might sit and have a glass of wine as well, but not for the first time, despite lugging a bottle and the means to chill it and a glass all the way there, when I got there I just didn't quite feel in the mood for it.

My usual spot for wine on the heath - the Bronze Age barrow. I think when I got there there was a big group of millenials sitting nearby, and it rather spoiled the ambience.

So I just paused for a little while to catch what little of the sunset you get to see from Hampstead Heath (always trees in the way!) an d then moved on.

The barrow, and you can just about make out the group of millenials who spoiled it for me.

A few photos as I headed back home.

I decided to have my glass of wine back at home in the garden instead, where I would had a bit more peace and quiet (no bloody dogs yapping for a change).
