Met up with Chie and Erika in St Pancras after work so we could get Vera a birthday present, then took Erika for cocktails (!) at George's Bar at Gilbert Scott, followed by dinner at Diwana on Drummond Street.

South Downs: Hassocks to Fulking

A fairly randomly planned route today, mainly chosen because I wanted a relatively short train journey and wanted to see what the pub in Fulking was like. It actually turned out to be a very pleasant walk though - despite the heat - and I took in some lesser known paths which turned out to be quite lovely.
