The Gloaming
Tuesday 28th April 2020
Another early evening walk to Hampstead Heath - this time in much more gloomy weather, and all the more atmospheric (and quiet!) for it.

End of the working day glass of ESW - tail end of a bottle left over from a few days ago, still surprisingly drinkable.

17:36:39
Vines.

17:42:30
Rain on the blueberry bush leaves.

17:44:13
Apples!

18:22:53
A different leftover wine now.

Out for my evening walk. I found this shedding of blossom interesting.

A squirrel on the way into Hampstead Heath.

19:54:03
Quite grey and damp this evening, the pictures aren't much to write home about but it was gratifyingly atmospheric.

Looking towards Highgate.

Looking down into central London.

19:59:27
I brought a hip flask with me just in case.

Heading back down Parliament Hill. Oddly I think I liked the Heath more this evening for being grey and gloomy - if nothing else it meant fewer people.

Here I am looking slightly maniacal.

College Lane again.
