A night out in Hiroshima with Kurihara-kun, who had come to stay in London around this time last year.

| 20:29:27 As this evening was the night before a national holiday, lots of places were full, this is one of the many little alleyways we explored trying to find somewhere for our second venue of the evening. | 20:52:49 This definitely rated as the best set of stairs in Hiroshima (unfortunately the place was full). | 21:19:10 Eventually we found an izakaya with a spare table. There was some confusion over our order for sake - we were expecting one flask to share between three, we actually got one each. Quite a lot of sake to get through! |

| 21:41:24 Maki sushi wrapped in Hiroshima-na (a local variety of cabbage) instead of the usual nori - presumably something of a regional speciality. | 22:18:40 I really liked the lampshades in this place... | 22:19:01 ....so much so I took several pictures of them. |
