Tuesday in Sestri Levante
Tuesday 17th June 2014
Spent the day in Sestri Levante, with a couple of visits to the beach.
Italy June 2014
View from our hotel room in the morning.
On the way to brekfast.
The view from the restaurant.
Erika decorating a bread roll with jam.
View from one of the hotel windows I think, possibly from the stairs.
Walking down to the hotel's little private bay.
At the hotel's private pool / beach.
The water was a bit too cold for Erika though.
Although I had a swim at least.
Showing Erika a hermit crab.
Later on, we went to the place I'd been recommended for olive oil (Frantoio Bo) and bought a couple of bottles.
Focaccia for a late lunch, ate on the balcony of our hotel. More of a veranda really in fact.
Erika and some focaccia.
The three of us, self timer.
I love this picture of Erika by the door.
Aperol Spritz, which came ready made up in a bottle.
Gelato at 100% Naturale.
Erika and her gelato.
Chie bought some sunglasses for Erika, here she is trying them on.
Towards the end of the afternoon we thought we'd try the beach again. This time we instead went to the little public sandy beach in Sestri Levante, which was very family oriented. I bought Erika a bucket and spade set, and the excavations commenced.
Chie and Erika paddling in the sea.
Dinner at a pizzeria called I Due Forni.
Erika decided she wanted to wear her sunglasses during dinner.
Erika and a bench.
Love this picture!
