Erika is always keen to have a burger the motorway services when on these long car journeys - we never go to places like this otherwise.

I tried KFC’s vegan burger for a change.

The batter / coating / whatever you call it was nostalgically reminiscent of when I used to eat KFC proper as a kid.

Our al fresco lunch at Fleet Services.

We then spent almost an hour stuck at Fleet Services trying to get out of the carp park. Absolute gridlock.

Another stop off later on at a more modest services somewhere on the A303.

At Dad’s house now - cider and Monster Munch.
