First port of call on our cruise today: Stavanger.
Norwegian Fjords Cruise
Decided to have breakfast in our room today.
First glimpse of Stavanger from our balcony.
Out for a stroll in Stavanger, Erika on my shoulders. Tweed seemed appropriate given the weather.
The three of us, taken by another passenger.
The traditional Peruvian knitted goods market in Stavanger.
In Stavanger's old town.
Seeing our ridiculously large ship in this setting looked a bit surreal.
Erika very quickly found a little playgound.
Nice wooden houses in the old town.
...and then Erika found a second playground.
Erika going down the slide.
The lake in Stavanger.
Erika walking along a wall.
Had a lovely hot chocolate and a coffee in this nice little chocolate shop.
The ship again.
The little watch tower thing we could see from our balcony.
...and Erika found another playground.
Decided to have lunch back on the ship, as not much was open in Stavanger.
...and then later on we also went for afternoon tea.
The weather improved a bit as we were sailing away from Stavanger.
Bought these "Goldfish" snacks in Stavanger. They were really addictive.
Excellent accompaniment to a Negroni.
The view out to sea, with a bit of Norwegian coastline in the distance.
Erika on the balcony.
Having an early evening cocktail at the bar while Erika was playing in the kid's club.
Erika got this glow stick at kid's club.
We'd been stockpiling ice buckets a bit.
Bedtime for Erika, looks like I was a bit sleepy too!
