Christmas Day in Dartmouth
Sunday 25th December 2011
A fairly relaxed sort of a Christmas day in Dartmouth, including a stroll to Dartmouth castle and a walk on the beach at Slapton.
Christmas in Dartmouth
Heading out for our walk to Dartmouth castle.
By the Castle Tea Rooms (closed today).
Now in Slapton, a village near Dartmouth.
The specactular Tower Inn had alas closed by the time we got there (it just opened 11am-1pm on Christmas day).
A door in Slapton.
On the beach at Slapton Ley.
Chie suggested we dress for dinner.
I rather like this picture of me watching telly.
Strange picture taken by Chie.
Me and Vera with a glass of Veuve Fourny each.
Chie by the Christmas tree.
First attempt at a self timer group shot - unfortunately I managed to hide Vera!
Better luck second time round.
Some shots of the table.
My new cufflinks - a Christmas present from me to me (with Chie's permission).
At the table for Christmas dinner now.
Not sure this hat really does me any favours.
Vera and Robert were dancing, but we caught this slightly too late.
We set fire to the Christmas pudding several times...
Here's me heating up the brandy.
It's really flambéing a treat there.

Me having a bit of a lie down.
