12:17:36 Today we went for a boat trip around the island, which I hadn't done before. A great
opportunity to see bits of the island from different angles.
| 12:18:25 A view looking back along Bardsey from past the tip.
| 12:20:04 Mainly Mynyth Enlli.
| 12:21:47 So this is me...
|
12:24:08 Heres the end of the island with the lighthouse.
| 12:25:25 The little rock where the seals go to rest sometimes.
| 12:31:04 I look a bit seasick here! I wasn't honest!
| 12:32:33 Enlli again...
|
12:37:44 ...and again.
| 12:38:49 A collection of interesting seabirds gather here...
| 12:41:35 Here we face the bay where we slept sunday night.
| 12:42:32 Well you can't really see herr, but Janie (who doesn't like boat journeys much)
was standing on the cliff here waving at us.
|
12:44:08 Demonstrating how steeply one side of the mountain drops away into the sea.
| 12:50:51 Can't really remember what everyone was looking at here...
| 12:50:59 Some of the other boat passengers...
| 13:03:52 Back on land for us, but back out to sea for the boat, going back to the
mainland to pick up more day visitors.
|
13:13:49 How now, errr, black cow. This cow produces milk for the farm.
| 13:20:21 Me in a fairly pretentious picture. Still I quite like it anyway.
| 13:21:09 Alex gets in on it too.
| 16:34:45 After lunch we went for a second fishing expedition. Alex seemed to be a natural,
and in minutes we'd caught this rather fetching fish.
|
16:36:12 A close up of Alex's fish.
| 17:14:28 Theres a shrimp in there somewhere.
| 17:31:27 Big shrimp and little shrimp. They didn't seem to get on too well.
| 17:46:40 And another fish.
|
23:21:57 Later on that evening we had a quick trip to the well before going to bed.
